(love letters) to my orthophoniste

Moving image, two-screen installation, sound design and video editing, 2022

This looped, two-screen installation reflects on the experience of existing within a world shaped by assumptions around communication and cognition, and the internal cycles of rumination and anxiety that can arise. It evokes a visceral unease, drawing the viewer into that emotional landscape.

At its core, the piece gestures toward the importance of care, structure, and support in holding space for lived differences.

(“orthophoniste” — a French term for speech therapist)
